The pH stability during human gamete handling for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is physiologically sound. As the pH change for bicarbonate-buffered medium, scientists assumed whether the use of HEPES or MOPS buffered medium would provide more stable pH, thereby better outcomes.
