Awarness of Preeclampsia and Its Associated Factors Among Pregnant Women in Sohag University Hospital
Preeclampsia is a major pregnancy-related hypertensive disorder and a leading cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in developing regions. Adequate maternal awareness of preeclampsia symptoms and risk factors is crucial for early detection and timely medical intervention.
Objectives: This study aims to assess the level of awareness regarding preeclampsia, its warning signs, and its associated risk factors among pregnant women attending the antenatal care (ANC) clinic at Sohag University Hospital, and to identify socio-demographic factors associated with their awareness levels.

Exclusion Criteria:
Women with severe medical or obstetric emergencies requiring immediate management at the time of data collection.
Women with cognitive impairment, severe psychiatric illness, or communication difficulties that prevent reliable completion of the questionnaire.
Incomplete questionnaire responses.
