This randomized clinical trial investigates the effect of oculomotor training on postural stability and motor proficiency in children with spastic diplegia. Participants will undergo structured oculomotor exercises designed to enhance visual-motor integration and balance control. Outcomes will be assessed using standardized measures of postural stability and motor proficiency before and after intervention. The study aims to determine whether targeted oculomotor training can improve functional motor performance and balance in this pediatric population.
By evaluating the effect of structured oculomotor training on postural stability and motor proficiency in children with spastic diplegia, the study seeks to establish whether visual-motor interventions can serve as effective adjuncts to conventional therapy. Intervention: Participants receive a structured oculomotor training program in addition to Conventional Physiotherapy. Details: Exercises include saccadic eye movements, smooth pursuit, fixation, and visual scanning tasks. Sessions: 45 minutes of Conventional Physiotherapy and 45 minutes of Oculomotor Training , 3 times per week, for 12 weeks. Purpose: To evaluate whether oculomotor training enhances postural stability and motor proficiency beyond conventional therapy.
Participants receive standard physiotherapy focusing on stretching, strengthening, and balance training. Details: Sessions matched in duration and frequency to the experimental arm (45 minutes, 3 times per week, for 12 weeks). Purpose: Serves as a comparator to determine the added value of oculomotor training.
