The Effectiveness of Scenario-Based Climate Change Awareness Training for Primary Health Care Workers
The Effectiveness of Scenario-Based Climate Change Awareness Training for Primary Health Care Workers
Improving climate change awareness among primary care nurses is of great importance for the future of the health sector. Increasing this awareness enables primary care workers to combat environmental health problems more effectively and to adopt a more conscious approach to protecting public health. Climate change is a global public health problem that negatively affects fundamental determinants of health such as clean air, clean drinking water, food, and safe shelter. Nurses, in particular, must understand these environmental risks and develop strategies to ensure the sustainability of health services. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of climate change awareness training given to primary care nurses on their climate change awareness levels.
