Effect of an Antioxidant Dietary Supplement on Skin Radiance

Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Trial Evaluating the Effect of an Oral Antioxidant Dietary Supplement on Skin Radiance in Women Exposed to Urban Air Pollution

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the effects of an oral antioxidant dietary supplement on skin radiance in women exposed to urban air pollution. Secondary assessments include skin tone homogeneity, pigmentation, inflammation, skin barrier function, glycation markers.

Inclusion Criteria:

• Healthy female aged 35 to 65 years
• Fitzpatrick skin phototype II to IV
• All skin types
• Dull and uneven skin tone
• Living in an urban environment and exposed to air pollution
• Able to comply with study procedures
• Written informed consent provided

Exclusion Criteria:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Current use of dietary supplements or vitamin supplements
• Specific dietary restrictions
• Unstable medication affecting water retention
• Active medical disease
• Facial dermatological disorder
• Participation in another clinical trial
• Vulnerable populations according to French regulations
