This is a prospective observational study that requires measurement of the size of both arteries in both upper extremities using ultrasound. These will be performed after the induction of anesthesia prior to the start of the surgical procedure.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate differences in the size of the radial and ulnar artery in a single extremity and then compared to the non-dominant extremity.
