This study examines the effects of autogenic inhibition (PFS) versus reciprocal inhibition in individuals with lower cross syndrome
Participants were randomly assigned into two groups Group A received Autogenic Inhibition (PFS) technique focusing on lengthening of chronically shortened muscles Group B received Reciprocal Inhibition technique focusing on lengthening of chronically shortened muscles Pain, Functional Disability , Muscular strength, Lumbar and Hip Rom were measured using VAS, ODI, Sphygmomanometer, Inclinometer and Goniometer

| Autogenic Inhibition (PFS) Group A | Procedure | Patient will receive a four-week physiotherapy program with 3 sessions per week. Each session with heat application followed by supervised stretching and strengthening exercises. Participants in group A will receive Autogenic Inhibition (PFS) 10 minutes TENS & Heating Pad Autogenic Inhibition for 5 sec 5 reps, 5 sec hold,1 set Frequency: 12 sessions for 4 weeks (3 sessions per week and day of rest between sessions) Total Treatment Time 30 minutes each session Strengthening Exercises for Hip and Core Muscles |
| Measure | Description | Time Frame |
|---|---|---|
| Lumbar Range of Motion | Lumbar spine range of motion will be assessed using inclinometer | Baseline, 2nd week and 4th week |
| Hip Range of Motion | Hip range of motion will be assessed using Goniometer | Baseline, 2nd week and 4th week |
| Functional Disability | Functional Disability will be measured with Oswestry disability Index, a ten item questionnaire with 6 response options per item. | Baseline, 2nd week and 4th week |
