Predictors of Climate Change Health Literacy in Older Individuals
The aim of this study is to identify predictors of climate change health literacy in older adults.
The study will include at least 159 elderly individuals aged 65 and over. Assessments will be conducted via face-to-face interviews. After recording the demographic information of the participants, cognitive functions will be assessed using the Hodkinson Mental Test, climate change health literacy using the Climate Change Health Literacy Scale, anxiety level using the Climate Change Anxiety Scale, physical activity level using the Rapid Assessment of Physical Activity, dyspnea level using the Modified Medical Research Council Dyspnea Scale, and mental fatigue using the Mental Fatigue Scale. Assessments are planned to be completed in approximately 15-20 minutes.
Inclusion Criteria:- Being 65 years of age or older
Exclusion Criteria:- older adults who cannot be contacted due to reasons such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or psychosis
