Inclusion Criteria:

patient undergoing vitrectomy surgery
able to give informed consent

Exclusion Criteria:

post-operative eyedrop regimens that include topical non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications
subjects with altered post-operative eyedrop schedule for enhanced inflammation control
documented allergy to atropine
