From the initial population of 86 participants (43 in each group), 6 were diagnosed with thyroid cancer and were not eligible for evaluation of outcomes at 6 months of follow up. Leaving 42 eligible patients in the intervention group (1 cancer diagnosis) of which 29 completed the follow up survey and 38 in the control group (5 cancer diagnoses) of which 21 completed the follow up survey.
