Endemic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is invariably associated with Epstein-barr virus (EBV) infection. Plasma EBV DAN detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based assays can provide important informations of disease screening, disease relapse, and risks classification.
