• Married
• Divorced

Prescribed patient set (PPS): All patients fulfilling inclusion and exclusion criteria who have received a first prescription of a respective type 2 diabetes (T2D) medication and whose documentation was electronically signed by the physician.

Number of patients in each category of insurance status according to type 2 diabetes (T2D) medication initiated at study index date 1 is reported.

The categories of insurance status are:

• Not insured
• Statutory insured
• Privately insured
• Unknown
