Brief Summary: To evaluate the possible effects of atorvastatin on ambulatory blood pressure, urinary albumin excretion, insulin resistance and arterial stiffness in hypertensive patients, beyond those on lipid profile. Glycemic parameters, "novel" cardiovascular risk factors and safety parameters will be also evaluated.
